LISTEN TO US!
While Baynes endure another court day, the comments in the previous blog #273 demonstrate that countless other people are experiencing similar miscarriages from this same Ministry. Victoria! Are you paying attention? Don't tell us any longer that you cannot comment because our cases are before the courts.

I have little doubt some of this information is trickling into the ears and offices of Victoria, and I'm sure they are hoping it will stay confined to a few obscure blogs, but it needs to be a continuous flood and put on a larger stage.
ReplyDeletePerhaps CBC's Go Public might be one avenue, because as their budget is being gutted and their services downsized, MCFD's budget is increasing. CBC would have a vested interest in exposing public waste and violations of the rights of families.
Parents cannot go on TV, identify their children and risk worsening their situation. One parent may agree to go public, then you can have voices and hidden visages of other parents relaying their story as background to illustrate the growing problem.

ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that Go Public and Kathy Tomlinson will be interested in the outcome of this hearing in Chilliwack. They did a couple of interviews on the case a year ago. Presently it may not seem to be newsworthy. But it will be. I will hope that CBC managers will recognize the need for a large expose on this national problem.
Here is an examplel of how publicity can work. Take a look at the Vancouver Province story "Raging U.S. flight attendant makes his personal emergency exit"

A link to a blog is posted by the article writer, that. The blog writer is a fellow that was there on the airplane and he writes his perspective.
In the comments section are several notes from news organizations that want him to contact them.

This is what affected parents need to do, the moment the social workers or doctors involved in the Baynes story make questionable removals of children, the parents need to post the details immediately for others to spread.
ANON AT 11:12 AM;
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you in terms of the importance of public relations. Parents should learn how to set up blogs, and do whatever it takes to get the word out. The more parents who see that others have spoken out, the more likely they will speak out.
The fight against child protection corruption is escalating every moment. The truth cannot be supressed, especially when it is so powerful and important. That is what the child protection industry fears most: the truth. And with good reason.
Looks like this blog has had about 5,000 new hits in a very few days. People are paying attention.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, now might be a really good time for Whistleblowers to speak out.
It's in the best interests of the Bayne children to be returned to their real parents, now.
